One month passed.

Cross stared at the kid for a long time. 'He looks a lot like him.' He though but then shook his head mentally. "Yeh, yeh. Nice to meet you too, shortie. Now could you show me the way to the nearest bar around here?"

"What?! I'm not short!" Remy blurted out. Offended he crossed his arms. "And there are no bars out here sir, its a school!"

Before Cross could shout how outrageous the idea of no bars was, Cari grabbed Remy and Mei's hands and dragged him away.

"Eh? Miss Cari -" blurted the confused boy out. But realised any protest won't help and just let Cari dram him and Mei away.

Mei stayed quiet and let Cari drag her away. 'Why is he here?' She thought to herself and frowned.

When they were on the other side of the yard (it's humongous), Cari stopped and let go of her friends. Sighing she dropped down on the grass and rubbed her forehead.

Smiling wide Remy sat next to her. "Now, I'l ready to hear the big story!" He sighed.

Cari sighed. "Well, I'm not in the mood to tell it. It's a bit embarrassing."

"I went true a sulky month , and I'm dying to know!" He said in protest. "Speak up!"

Cari sighed in defeat. "Fine fine! I really did fall of the cliff, but luckily, that bastard cushioned my fall, so I wasn't that hurt. He took care of me, then he beat the shit out of me, then he trained me. And now I'm back here. Happy?"

" ... I guess so?" He shot a slight smile. "But , couldn't you let us know you didn't die ... a little sooner?"

"That would spoil things. I like surprising people anyways." Cari grinned at Remy and Chun Mei who had stayed quiet all this time.

"yeah sure, let everybody think I'm dead. Its not like they'll care." Remy rolled his eyes.

Cari glared a bit at Remy. "In the end I'm alive, and you're still so sour. I'd think you wanted me dead." She said jokingly.

"Of course not!!" He blurted out shocked, and just then notced Cari was joking. "Anyway, you're right. In the end the good thing is that your alive."

"Well, it's not that great for me. Now I owe that pervert. Ugh." Cari huffed in annoyance.

Mei finally decided to talk. "Why is he here?"

Cari turned startled a bit at Mei's low voice. She used it only when she was mad or training. "Ah...He thought he'd come to teach here...Says that if I threw myself over a cliff, who's to say someone else won't or something like that. I just know he wants to be around young girls, the pervert." She sighed then looked at her watch. "Ah...I need to go see my room and review the stuff I missed." She threw a multiciphered look at Mei. "See you around, Remy." She walked away.

"Bye." Mei said grimly and followed Cari.
