Music is my muse~

Brandon opened the room to his classroom. It was right next to the Drama classroom. He whistled. It was a very big room, with a few cupboards lined on the walls, with different instruments all around the room, places to sit and there was a door that led to the drama room backstage. He moved around touching the instruments and trying some out, seeing if they were tuned. He smiled and went to one of the cupboards and opened it. It was full with textbooks and sheet music. He grabbed a few and sat down on one of the armchairs to read through.

Bored Peach wanderd around down the halls. Daytime seemed so death. She had expected more students. She even prepared herself for the loud annoying ones. But it seemed that was a waste of effort. To amuse herself she started reading the nametags on the door. Then she stood still.
Music class
Doubting a little in the beginning she opend the door. Seems this will become her little stage for now ?She saw intruments placed all over the room. And with that a man. "Ah, exuse me... I didn't expect anyone to be here yet."

Brandon hadn't noticed the girl come in, for he was too indulged in his reading. "Ah! Don't worry. Class won't start for another few days. I'm just here to check if all the supplies are in check." He smiled. "Ah, how rude of me. I am Brandon Flowers. And you?"

"Poppeline, Peach Poppeline." Looking at the man, Peach took out a hand. "Pardon if I'm wrong. But I suppose you will be teaching here ?"

Brandon took Peach's offered hand and shook it. "Why, yes. I will." He smiled.

The redhead nodded. "I see." She didn't even try to smile. "What intruments do you play Mister Flowers?"

"I myself can play the piano, flute and violin. What about you, Miss Poppeline?" Brandon inquired.

A little fasenated by the mans ears Peach looked away. "I play the flute myself, tried cello for a while but it didn't suit me. I'm rather a fan of the voice." This time she did smile. "Mind letting me hear some ? I've never heard a liger play before."

He was a bit surprised she knew his exact change form, but nodded anyway. "Which would you like to hear, miss? The piano or violin?"

"Ah ... hard one to choose ..." She lifted herself on a random desk. "I guess you shall use the piano a lot in the lessons. So, If you don't mind I'd love to hear some violin."

Smiling, Brandon went towards where most of the instruments lay, and picked up the violin. He then began playing, one of his favorite melodies, Danses du petit cygne (Dance of the little swans), by Tchaikovsky.

Peach was stunned. She had heard people play violin before. But never like this. This was so beautiful. She even held her breath, afraid to ruin the play.

Finally, finishing the melody, he put down his violin. "Well, what do you think?"

"I have never ..." She moved her mouth but was not capitble of finding words. "Beautiful, simply beautiful Mister Flowers"

Brandon blushed a bit. "Well...it wasn't that good...I'm a bit rusty from not playing for a while, but thank you." He smiled.

"If that was rusty, you should play for me again when your on your best. I'd die to hear that."

Brandon chuckled a bit. "Sure thing." He put down the violin he used in its previous place. "I think you said you were a fan of voices? Can you sing?"

A slight blush came on Peachs cheeks. So she turned her head before the teacher could notice. "Its more like I try."

"Would you please sing something for me?"

With those words Peach jumped off the desk. She could sing better straight up. With slight shaky legs she was lecturing herself. A siren, shy about her voice. How ridiculous! Taking a last deep breath she eyed the teacher and started to sing one of her grandmother favorite songs.

Brandon had never in his short life, ever heard such an exquisite voice. He felt drawn in. Every note was perfectly sung.

When she was done Peach coughed, just to do something. Turning her head towards Mister Flowers to get his reaction.

He was speechless. "A-Amazing! Stunning!" Peach's voice was so intoxicating.

A proud grin came across her face. What was very rare for her. "Thank you." She said softly. Her family and hometown had started to take her voice for granted, so it was nice to get a complement about it. "I'm already looking forward to the class."

Brandon grinned. "Me too. If the other students are half as good as you are, it's going to be a blast."
